The students of the Ceramic Department at Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University Bodrum Faculty of Fine Arts are reminding us of the Goddess Hecate's rightful place within a historical context suitable for her, by bringing her out from the pages of mythology using the language of ceramics, at the Haluk Elbe Art Gallery.
Hecate is a goddess who instigates benevolence. The creators of this exhibition have drawn inspiration from her benevolence and rootedness. Hecate's position within the cosmos is not covetous; hence, her principle is more human-centered, and her aesthetics are intrinsic.
